Camp Directors Chris Whalley,and Josh Baker have established Chowan University Men’s Soccer into a powerhouse program. 

Coach Whalleys has over a decade of experiences at Division I and Division II level, and has developed numerous professional players but has always been committed to the community and helped develop grass roots soccer.

Rich Dearle,  Goalkeeper Coach

Current Chowan and Lionsbridge FC goalkeeper coach Rich Dearle joins us following playing professional soccer in Australia. He will be in charge of our goalkeeping program here at the Hawk Soccer Academy.

Prior to his collegiate playings days Rich signed a professional contract with Nottingham Forest. Rich had a fantastic college career playing at Embry-Riddle (NCAA DII) in Florida and University of Rio Grande (NAIA) in Ohio. Upon graduating, Rich moved over to Australia to play professionally for Eltham Redbacks in Victoria. He also played for Coach Whalley and Lionsbridge FC between 2019 & 2021.
